There is a myth that the players have to get the crowd going. Well today it proved its the other way around.

I've gone on about how we have been contributing to our poor performances and how we need to start being a better support. If the fans perform like that every game we'll never lose.

Every player contributed to a brilliant performance but like most who have mentioned below Iwobi, Keane and Kenny were exceptional. The fact Raphinha went off at half time speaks volumes about Kennys performance. Iwobi though surprised me the most. Closing down, actually dribbling and trying to go past people and, I can't believe I'm about to say this, but a YELLOW card for a slide tackle. He must of won the ball back 2nd only to Beek who was also pure class.

We need to keep it up. We've had too many false dawns but it does feel like things are starting to build. 7 goals in two home games, 8 in total. The Newcastle game for me slipped away because of the two injuries and we got sucked into the emotion of the game. The team though for me look like they have an identity and a common understanding.

So hopefully we are now the fans we should be and the team will start to thrive. Its not just them that have to keep this up its us as well but I think we can all come away with a 10/ 10 today.

100% agree. The players respond to the fans. I have heard people say the players need to give the fans something to shout about which to a point i agree but i beleive the fans need to give the players something to fight for more. Fans moaning and booing make the players affraid to make a mistake while fans backing and encouraging the players by taking the roof off the place gives the players belief and an extra 10% all over the pitch. Today the fans we absolutly outstanding and it showed on the pitch. It was a joy. let's keep it going win lose or draw. Show why we clain to be thw best fans in the world.
