So after a night to sleep on what was a painful loss in what was seen beforehand as an important game it hurt massively, but we have 17 games left to go and need somewhere around 12 to 15 points. Everyone is being very negative and forgetting Saturdays performance, we are going to lose games and there will be good and bad times under frank. However we've still got 17 games to play that's 51 points. We've got to play Leeds, Brentford, Wolves, Leicester, Newcastle and crystal all at home, add to that Watford, burnley and Southampton away. We need some perspective lampard will have learnt hard lessons last night but we lost 2 of our better players inside 30 minutes. We have to all dig in and get behind each player for every single game now! You saw our players were scared of the atmosphere last night. When Newcastle come to goodison they will not be anywhere near the side they were last night. I'd take 17th now and just build over the summer. I think van de beek is going to be huge for us and looked promising last night. Also our only left back dropped out at the last minute. He's got a tough job but let's all back him and the players and go again for a big game Saturday!

Fair summing up Bluetoff. There’re reasons why we’re in this mess and Lampard does not have a magic wand. It was a tough watch last night. We had little luck with injuries (and haven’t all season) , every 50:50 went the way of the crowd, snd Saint-M threw in a world class performance. I still believe we have enough in the squad to stay up comfortably. We desperately need Dom back and fit for the run in.
It starts with a win on Saturday.

The past is the past. If we keep looking back we can’t move forward. The past also involved he who shall not be named, the future has lampard as manager with a different squad. Let’s be positive and push us over the line!

You can’t be positive when you have a defence like ours. It’s almost a given that we will concede in every game we play now. Therefore we will have to score two or three goals every game.

It’s called football, we can’t all be so negative all the time. We might concede goals yes but the best form of defence is attack. We have to back the team and stop being so pessimistic! Time to all dig deep.
