Love your optimism GB that the decision makers care what the fans feelings on any managerial appointment are.

Although to be fair if it was up to the fans to decide it could be 2030 before we reached agreement.

I’m not sure what the board see in Martinez?

Look at the players he has at his disposal at Belgium and still hasn’t achieved much with them. That squad should be winning tournaments.

We need someone who know how to set up a back line and can coach them into defending.

Our attacking players are good and look very good when given the chance to attack, grey, Gordon, Richarlison, Townsend, DCL will get goals - but if we can’t defend then no hope.

A lot of press reports suggesting that we have approached the Belgium authorities. Another of those "not sure about Managers" but hopefully if appointed he knows some young Belgium players that we could get on the cheap.

Yeah goodness knows who will be our next manager and we can only speculate just can’t see Martinez even being considered, new names emerging this morning are Lucian Favre, Andrea Pirlo, Genaro Gattuso and so on and so on, none of know who it will be, just hope Mr Moshiri gets it right and we can all enjoy watching footy again.

Wouldn't stress too much about who the new manager will be folks (apart from for those that need a name in order to start work on the ***** out banner) . We are an unattractive club, with a bunch of players with questionable attitudes and a fanbase that will force whoever it is out of we don't look like qualifying for Europe early in their tenure!
