I fear even 19 games to go the Club have left it to late. Is there a manager out there (willing to come to us) that can turn this round! I honestly cannot think of one. We need someone that can hit the ground running. We need our owner to get practical, honest and knowledgeable football Club advice from somewhere. I have not conciously known Everton out of top flight football (to young) but I honestly am worried now. Please Mr Moshri (Usmanov? ) take proper advice, do due diligence this time.

DFS, I get what you're saying and you are not the only one and with good reason mate, I listened to Alan Stubbs on TV he seems concerned about the lack of leaders in the squad etc. . I am hoping/ praying we have a hero in our midst that hasn't revealed himself yet .
We need a good seeing to in terms of getting things right, mistakes have been made time and time again surely even a half wit in the boardroom can see that,
Heres hoping anyway.

Could be blind optimism, but I still feel that with the attacking quality we have in Richy, DCL, Gray, Gordon, Andros etc, we’ll score goals. With some tightening up at the back, and some spirit injected, we’ll be mid table at the end of the season.

Yep so many fans turned against him at the end, far better out there, we must aim for someone higher than him.

I would rather have Martinez back than go down the route of a new man who does not know the club, wants to change everything, and then finds the board and owner at loggerheads over his requests. The board seem keen on Martinez. If taken on they need to tell FM to leave the football alone. I would like Brands back too. But we are only humble Evertonians with little or no clout. We will keep supporting come what may. Nice to see all the differing views though. It shows we care for our club.

Wouldn't worry that we've left it too late DFS. if we double the points we've got in the first half of the season we'll be fine. And given that Rafa was widely considered to be a huge failure you'd think it's reasonable to expect that we will do far more than equal the return from first half of the season!
