I was never a fan of Benitez as some on here know. But it had nothing to do with who he had managed.
I didn't want him because of the way he sets his teams up to play, and he didn't prove me wrong.
Had he been less stubborn with his tactics, formations and team selection. I firmly believe he would still be in charge now.
The only person he has to blame for losing his job is himself.

To old and set in his ways to change. Unless we have new Manager identified and ready to take over now then I hope Duncan Ferguson can instill some passion into the squad. I would also make Richarlison captain, he is one of the few players who gives his all for the club. I know he dives too much and complains too much but he plays with passion and heart which needs to rub off on the rest of the squad.
