Let's say hypothetically Rafa was sacked.

Would you trust Moshiri to get the right man next time around?

Serious and simple question

Please don't respond with "but he's got us a stadium". It's not relevant to the question.

i don't trust anyone in the board anymore.
i would honestly go all out for graham potter. considering around 8 of their starting 11 were already at the club before he joined tells me that he knows how to get the best out of players he has at his disposal while also playing attractive football. and i know our players have been abysmal but we can clearly see its a motivational thing because we know they can play (arsenal game as an example. I honestly think if we get a good centre back and a 2 more midfielders in that our squad could conpete for europe! that's said i mean that abillity wise, cause we've been proven one to many times that these lads are happy settling for mediocrity. I just wonder what or who it takes to get them motivated week in week out!

There is no ‘right man’ though. The last 5 years plus have shown us this. One of the apparent ‘worlds best managers’ couldn’t even get a tune out of us. 10th! Plus he had other players at his disposal.
If we keep sacking managers we will get relegated, the history of the premiership has shown us this regarding clubs who have had investment and failed. I understand this question is hypothetically but in all honesty what’s the point. I swear I’m one of the only evertonians that want to see what the boss can do with some of his own transfer windows, and I attend around 3/ 4 plus of our home games a season and i’m an avid evertonian. Our home support is poor (not just under rafa) Our away support is still NOW some of the best support there is out there. I’m as pizzed off as the next fan with this season but putting the whole blame on the boss with what he’s had left to deal with is sad and easy for us fans.
Players are back now, and match fit. He’s been able to add a few new faces this window. Let’s not pretend to sack him and see what he can do with the second half of the season. That’s my opinion on the matter anyway although it’s not a common one.

Joe, same Potter who has won 1 in 13 games?

I agree with Peter, talks a lot of sense. We've tried 8 managers (including caretakers) , none of whom were classed as a success.

Bobby played the best football but had defensive issues. Carlo had to park 2 buses to grind out lucky wins.

We need to see how the second half of the season goes and decide in the summer if he stays or goes.

I wouldn’t have faith in us getting the right man and I don’t feel we can attract the right man either

Not even sure who the right man is!

Maybe someone who is a young upcoming manager but there are risks with that if things go wrong early doors

Watched Howard’s way again the other day for the umpteenth time, maybe Rafa and the squad need to sit and watch it, understand what it means to wear the badge, what the club means to the supporters
How those players had each other’s back!
Like when Tarkowski injured Richarlison to see Allan laying one on him!
That passion and attitude is what we miss!

Same Potter who has more points in last 13 games than Rafa.

I know we have tried 8 different managers. Which one of the others have a worse record than Rafa over the last 13 games? None

To answer Swan. No - I do not trust Moshiri, or the rest of the board rest of the board for that matter to get the right man if we sacked Rafa.

Idon't know the answer. Getting rid of Rafa will get us into deeper FFP trouble as we have given him a ridiculous contract but staying with him, and the poor form he is producing from the team, will see us drop further into a relegation dog fight.

Does anyone honestly see an improvement in the spirit of the side? I see a team who comes out and drops into a defensive/ mistake riddled setup until we fall behind and then Gray, Townsend and Gordon try and pull us out of the mess we (and Rafs's tactics) have got ourselves into

Can someone explain to me what Rafa has done in the last 13 games to make this any better?

In a perfect world what would be the profile of Everton’s next manager? Young up and coming and risk he could turn out to be a Mike Walker or could be a David Moyes and improve the team to showcase his growing reputation. A foreign manager who is unproven in the premier league but doesn’t have negative past because nobody really knows anything about him or a disciplinarian experienced manager who won’t take no nonsense.
