I reckon suits both teams with current injury problems.

It Doesn't! Say for instance we replay in march and they spend the reported 300 mill in Jan? Newcastle knew exactly what they were doing and just wasting time waiting for 2 best players to come back after injury and a transfer window.

As much as I wanted the game to be played we would have done the same as Newcastle if we were in their shoes.

{Ed025's Note - absolutely dollo, but i imagine they will be a lot stronger after january mate with the funding they have now, but hopefully so will we..

We had our game called off, Benitez called the Premier League out on it publicly and everyone seemed to agree it was the right thing, we can’t complain that Newcastle now want to do the same thing, now that they are in the same position.

Ok, so Newcastle may have strengthened, but who do you really think will actually join them? Added to that, will Howe actually get the team settled and playing as a cohesive unit in time?

We should have DCL and Richarlison fit by then too.
