Does anyone know when a club signs a new player do they have access to a players previous medical history or it just a case of the player passing the clubs medical examination and known injuries. If nothing else Everton FC should now be extra cautious in future signings from that point of view.

Support Rafa, the only man for the job in my mind and a very big job on his hands to keep the club where they are, never mind catch up with the rest.

Yesterday's Villa match was a clear example where Rodriguez should have been fit enough for selection but unfortunately has a muscle problem. Doesn't go on to say which muscle.

This witch hunt is getting ridiculous. Yesterday, we had how many players out with injury? And you want to focus on just one?
Obviously, the club and the physios are lying just to give James an excuse not to play ?.

Blue potatoe it’s not a witch-hunt and not suggesting medical staff lying as you say, just question their commitment to their colleagues and the paymaster. By coincidence Jordan Pickford at a sellout Gerry Cinnamon concert in Newcastle last night. Hope he didn’t damage his shoulder. Just google Jordan Pickford in Newcastle, For the story. Also hope he bought his ticket since he picked up the injury as it was a sellout.

Fair enough, Brian21, when I first read your post it seemed it was directed at only one player even with another five of the team out!
I was thinking more along the lines of people wanting to rip into James when the likes of Gbamin have played less games over a longer period. Looks like James could finally be on the move today, that's one less injury to deal with every week!

{Ed002's Note - There is agreement over the JR move between the agent and the clubs (although for Everton this is simple) and it awaits a medical and the agreement of the player plus International clearance.}

Thanks for the info ed002. Let's hope they can come to an agreement soon either way.
