Think Rafa has misunderstood something regarding the left back situation in allowing Nkounkou to go out on loan.

Think he must have only heard part of what was said about Delph.

What he must of heard of the conversation was “Delph is leftback”

When actually what the conversation was “Delph is left back in the treatment room on match days”.

I would not be surprised if he’s been released on loan to ensure he has more playing and development time rather than sit on the bench and to assist in relaxing the wage bill because other signings are pending.
