Have to say, we have some fans on here with sky high expectations of our players. Yes we have made more mistakes in the transfer market than almost any other side in the league, but even when we get it right people complain.

Those who take shots at Richarlison and DCL are no doubt the same fans who used to bemoan Lukaku's poor first touch, and sometimes sketchy ball control. Happy to ignore his profic strike rate etc.

Richarlison is sulky, he could be more clinical. But he does get a decent return on goals, and last time I checked had one of, if not the highest number of tackles for a forward player in the league. If he scored more, he wouldn't be playing for us!

Simply put, we could cash in, but we will not attract a better player, so why bother? Or is the plan to sell our decent players, keep the rubbish we can't sell and move forward relying on our less than stellar recruitment team to find us some gems?

spot on efcone coudnt agree more and the odd one or 2 fans on here saying they would rather have mcneil or bailey then ricky makes me laugh yeah he might go down more than others but he puts a bloody good shift in was only a while ago that people was very critical of dlc as i said you needed the mids behind them to put in better performances at the time but yeah mate i would be happy with outgoings then incomings this season if am honest get the wages down.

Agree Efcone, seems insane that we would want to sell our only other goal scorer. Andy is right maybe if we had a more creative midfield then the guy would score more. And remember you can’t score goals if your defending all the time.

He’s a regular starter for the most famous national side in the history of the game. I would imagine that’s a good reason to keep him when you add his work ethic and obvious ability. Just on his headed goals alone for his size you can’t turn that away.

Most clubs don't have the funds to buy Richy at what the club would consider a good price so they will be looking for a cheap deal. Why sell cheaply if we can hang on to him for another season and make more profit then. He is one of our best players so if we have to sell him the we want to make as much profit as possible. The media will push anything to get the clicks going.

More I think about richy the more gutted I'd be if he went. Aside from his obvious ability, he puts an absolute shift in which in my view is something too many of our squad fail to do so we really don't want to lose that!
I also think his apparent moodiness isn't an entirely bad thing - to me it shows he wants to do better and the team to be better. If he's looking hacked off in a game where he hasn't scored and we're playing rubbish I like that because it shows he cares!
