Well after the summer of buying 146 number 10s we now look like were going to do the same again and stockpile wingers.

The difference is that there is only 1 number 10 position. There are 2 wing positions so obviously you need more players to cover it. All season I read comment after comment about how we have to improve our options out wide. Now we are doing that, people are complaining about that (I don't mean you by the way) . Gray and townsend aren't the big names anyone wanted, but they are decent players who fill out the squad and mean we can move a big earner on, like bernard in this example. From all of the rumours it seems like these 2 will come in then we are looking at a higher level players (Bailey, mcneil, chukwueze) . I'm more than happy with that personally.

I always liked the look of Gray, quick he just never kicked on. Could Rafa get a tune out of him? Let's hope so.
Townsend can ping a ball in and I'm guessing he'll get a lot more assists with DCL on the other end than he did with Benteke.
