Would these morons have done this to Peter Beardsley?
FFS they make us look so bad when this club has so much class!
If he is to succeed he needs the fans to get behind him! He's a professional manager and is not here to do anything but succeed look at the failures since Moyes left never faced anything like this!
He wasn't my first choice but I'll let better qualified people make the best decision for the club!

Top post wakka couldn't agree more. I don't think rafa has any allegiance to anyone other than maybe Valencia. So he managed liverpool so what. he's a consummate professional in my opinion. Ok I don't think the football will necessarily be pretty but it's been garbage for 2 seasons now anyway. Also careful for what you wish for as although the football was pretty under Martinez it was boring and predictable and imo the fella was a fraud. Rafa seems like a top fella and more importantly he's a great tactician also I doubt he will stand for the piss taking some of the squad have done with previous managers. Gets my 100 percent backing! Good luck to the man and I hope he proves the moaning minis wrong!
