If its rafa then what are going to expect from him? I tell you one thing he'll stay. He will build something. He achieved success at valencia and liverpool and won the europa at Chelsea. He needs to prove himself as a manager and we need to prove ourselves as a club. On paper it looks a good match. At least he gets involved in every aspect of the club and no one can say he isn't meticulous in his methods. He needs this job more than we need him so I assume he'll do everything he can to get this right. Its the perfect club for him and his best opportunity since liverpool. He lives here so he isn't going to want to fck this up. Its his last big chance so let's just give him time and support the team as best we can. He's not the worst choice out there. He needs funds, we can offer him that. He builds a squad and we need that. He has had some of the best players in the world under his guidance. There's going to be some bad games along the way but I will tell you this "for sure" we won't play as bad as last season under him. If its him, give him a chance. He took liverpool to some cup finals and very nearly won the league. All we need is a good squad and let's face it, no manager in the last 6 yrs has built that at everton.

Good post mate. Never thought of it in that sense, him needing us more than the other way round. That should mean he will be wanting to prove a point.
