Problem with Rafa is he would have to hit the ground running. With his history I doubt large portions of the fan base will give time to turn this team around.

until the moment nuno is appointed and the club make a statement, then we still have no manager. Nuno may well be the favourite to get the job but only you are claiming he is already manager.
I think we're all entitled to have an opinion on our next manager, that's normal. Some will want nuno, some won't and some will be indifferent to his appointment. That's football!

Dont want old has been manager. Want younger manager who will bring energy and fresh ideas. If that is Nuno then fine get behind the man.
You know all these people mentioned who have won trophies in the past all started somewhere. I mean look at Mourinho came from nowhere and won virtually everything.
We should be looking for the next Mourinho (OK maybe not one who is as barmy, but you know what I mean) .
We have the core of a good team, just need key additions in two or three positions.

Ed666 I always thought Rafa was/ is a good choice, I wanted him/ Moyes the last few Managers, nobody foresaw Ancelotti coming.
