Will say it again no matter which manager we get in, until most of the current Team are replaced we will never be a top team, most are simply not good enough and we are going to have to have a really good summer window to change it, interesting that our new manager has not been announced yet, I think it is not as cut and dried that Nuno will manage us with several managers still being linked, good luck to who ever comes in I will give my 100% backing, I see no point in not getting behind who ever it is.

Not meaning to offend, but that is rubbish. Most of it is mentality.

DCL, Richarlison, Pickford, Mina, Digne, Godfrey, Keane - (most of the time) , Allan, Dacoure, Rodriguez are all players who are capable of challenging in top tier clubs. Maybe not for titles, but certainly good enough for our ambitions. I'm sure plenty will tell me all the negative things they can about the above crop of players without one mention of the positives, but that's life.

A good manager with the correct vision, ability to motivate, could take that squad, add a few signings to fix its deficiencies and make it competitive.

I simply don't buy that it's all down to poor recruitment.

I would say at most we have 5 players in our first Team who I would keep that leaves 6 to be replaced, it’s going to take a couple of windows mate for sure, only my opinion of course.

Got to agree its mentallity. Didn't bobby say that was the first thing he had to change? It was unlucky for bobby in that first season because the points tally he got wouldve usually got us into Europe. I think after all their heads dropped and it affected everything. So yeah I agree with efcone.

So who would you keep and who would stay Guernsey?
Personally I feel EFCONE is on the right line, there is still a lot of negative mentality and also some bridges to mend
Then if we sort the balance of the team out, and make some shrewd signings we should see signs of recovery across the coming season
I also feel that we need to be prepared for just a top ten finish during transition as we find our new identity under the next manager, as although we need some tweaks we will need to plan for the future seasons which means bringing youngsters through.

Week in week out most of those players mentioned bar Allan Doucoure Godfrey And DCL did not perform, I just can’t see any manager we get in can motivate the rest Carlo certainly couldn’t, really hope I’m proved wrong as I say only my opinion lads.

Of the players who regularly get in the starting 11 I’d keep - Pickford, mina, Keane, Godfrey, digne, Allan, doucore, Richarlison, DCL, Rodriguez.

I’m not so sure both will go.

Can’t see Rodriguez going back to Madrid and not sure where else he would go as I’d assume we’d ask for a fee.

Not sure anyone will pay what we think Richarlison is worth.
