The remarks below ref Rafa taking the job, he's probably the best manager we could get certainly experienced and could be just what we have been crying out for for so long yes he called us a small club and we called him a Spanish waiter blah blah, but we need to get behind him if he is the one Mr Moshiri considers the best candidate, new broom sweeps clean, only my opinion though.

Didn't he explain once on sky that he didn't call us a small club, but he ment we have a small club mentality. Can't argue with him there. Like this season. As soon as we have chance to get in Champ league spots we blew it. It's like we are afraid to achieve anything.

You could be right mate but this time around we need a manager who cam deliver, enough is enough for our also ran Team, we need a leader who can deliver, if that is Rafa or whoever let’s get on an do it.

All managers play mind games, the small club put down is just an example of the same, niggles the opersione, get your own fan behind you.
If he is appointed I really don't have a problem with that, but whoever gets the job, the contract must be one heverly loaded with insentive payment, OK big money fine, but based on performance and results.

My main concern with Raffa is, if he did turn us around and start winning cups, qualifying for the CL, and possibly a league title, would he jump ship if Liverpool decided to remove Klopp or another if they stopped winning major comps? I know managers move about with success, but to have him jump ship across the park would be too much to take for some. Also has he now got out of the winning mentality?

Thats true Nick but that would apply to practically any manager if they could achieve all those things. Besides if we did manage all that Ithink we would all be eternally grateful for it even if he left.

Nick, you make a valid point but I think LFC would be looking towards Gerrard once the current manager leaves his role. Rafa would be a decent choice as long as some of our fans can get over that famous jibe from years ago. I'd take him, Galtier or Conte as our next manager!

I would welcome Rafa but can't help thinking he's coming 2-3 appointments too late in his career. He didn't do anything more exceptional than Bruce has done at Newcastle and going to China doesn't give me confidence about his desire.
His style of football is not what the top teams are playing now but I do feel he could improve us.
Would prefer Galtier or Potter if I'm honest.
