That was a cracking post BW mate, you hit the nail on the head, as you say this was never going to be fixed in one swoop, we have been in such a mess for years and now we are paying the price with far too many of our first string of players that are simply not good enough we all know who they are as does Carlo, he has to be given time to build a completely new Team, he has started and will continue to improve our Team over the next few windows, the biggest problem is finding someone to buy these under performers, Marcel certainly has his work cut out, he has started but no easy fix.

You know GB I was at Wembley in 1995, coming out of the stadium I believed we were looking at a great future. Now 25 plus years later we have no more trophies and at 81 years of age I am running out of time. We have a list of managers since and the cry has repeatedly been give them time.
I am not impressed that CA has won trophies and championships with other teams, he will be judged by what he does at Everton. Yes he needs time but right now I am not impressed with his game tactics or strategy. We have had bad luck with injuries but we still have a group of players who should be capable of working together as a team and providing entertaining football. You can blame the players all you want but the blame for the recent poor performances has to rest equally on management/ coaching. One has to ask the question "what do they do between games on the practice pitch in preparation for the next opponent? "
Next year will be pivotal for CA, Moshiri has not put all this money in the club to be wasted on mid-table mediocrity.

Against Aston Villa we had 9 full internationals (2 English, 1 Irish, 1 French, 2 Brazil, 1 Portugal, 1 Iceland and 1 Nigeria) and two England U21 in the starting eleven and everyone is saying that they are not good enough. Agreed some are not at their peak but they should be capable of a better performance than what was on show. What they are is underperforming individually and more importantly as a team.
