What are people's thoughts on the proposed swoop for Kieran Trippier?
At 30, he's in his prime, but has limited future value. We have a lot of young players though so could be a good option for 3/ 4 years whilst we look to bring through a younger full back.

I'd prefer Aarons. Played consistently this season, played in prem last season. Much younger. I think getting quality players for now and future is better than a player for a year or 2.

Is there any talk on the potential fee JB?

No fee mentioned ST. AMadrid bought him for 20 mill. Only a year left on his contract so should be less than that.

{Ed002's Note - This would be a significant mistake by Brands even though CA is a fan - Everton should look first at their other options of Aarons (who would be more expensive) or the up and coming Djed Spence who scouts recommended after watching another player.}

Do you not rate Trippier, Ed? Or it simply an issue of age? Difficult to get the right balance of experience, quality, youth etc.

{Ed002's Note - Aarons would be a far better solution and Spence has a very good career coming. Trippier has had his time and the wages will be high.}

Read that Aaron’s may no longer be under consideration as doesn’t fit the profile we want and we’re now looking at other options.
I find that quite hard to believe though as he appears to fit our profile perfectly as he’s young and proven in the league.

Whether he fits it or not, trippier at 30 for a fullback fits it less.
Aaron's and Coleman can get us by for another season or two. Coleman looks clas when he is not playing every game.
Play him 1 in 2 if in Europe and 1 in 3 if not and Coleman has another year at least.

Bellerin! Perhaps.
