Terrible game but won 1-0, found a way (with a little help) . Top sides find a way, playing ugly ir playing well. Take 1-0 any day.

As has been said before the midfield is the problem. Gomes can't find a player in blue with his passes, James today lost the ball often and Siggy spent most of the time in his own half defending. Yes will take the win but midfield has to be a priority in the summer transfer window. we need attacking midfielders who can move the ball from defense to attack quickly and accurately.

James lost the ball to often as he’s a positive player looking forward for a pass with no options. Then had to find other ideas. He’s a quality player and anything about us going forward started with him. Always wanted the ball always looks for it. That’s a player in my eyes.

Agree with you Jim. Think at times he just looks exasperated by the lack of movement and options when he has the ball.

Not being negative just realistic. Yes great to win but this is a discussion forum and having been a supporter for 75 years since I went to my first game at 6, and having been to Goodison probably more times than you I object to the comment about being s Blue.
