I have a bad feeling that we will finish 4th and then arsenal will win europa league and liverpool or chelsea will win champions league but won't be in top 4 places. Am I right in thinking we wouldn't get champions league if this was to happy and would be put into europa league instead.

Here’s a question I’ve been mulling over, would you take 7th place and a spot in this new europa conference league where I’d expect us to have a good shot at a trophy or skip Europe completely and avoid the impact on our league form next year that European football generally brings.

{Ed077's Note - 7th will probabaly get a Europa league spot depending on how the cup competitions turn out.}

Sorry Ed077 but 7th most definitely won't get Europa League. 5th is the Automatic spot, FA Cup spot can move to 6th in league, Carabao Cup spot can move to 7th (it's the Carabao winner/ League position alternative that gets Conference League) .

{Ed077's Note - oh I didn't know that. I thought 3 teams get into Europa league.

@Ed077 yeah it's usually been 3 places hasn't it. But as I understand it, the aim is yo bring a touch more prestige to the Europa League.
No doubt there are permutations that would see 7th qualify but working out the European Cup winner with Domestic League placings is just too much of a minefield for my brain today.
