Yesterday was terrible. Really bad game where we failed to take a strong foothold in the match at any point.

I genuinely feel the lack of a RB has cost us a place this season in the top 4. It's like we play with one arm tied behind our back. Holgate, is a half decent CB, not good enough to shift any of Keane, mina or Godfrey but decent back up. As RB, I have never seen anyone more lost at sea on what he has to do, with maybe the exception being Iwobi.

Holgate though constantly passes backwards instead of trying to run at the opposition or even attempt to pass the ball forward to the right winger/ forward player.

What doesn't make sense though is that we've needed one for 3 years and yet here we are still wondering why we haven't brought someone in.

Iwobi. What is he? It's completely pointless playing him. he's got pace and quick feet but he's rubbish scared of using either of them. Defenders usual hate players with those attributes but his brain hasn't got a clue with what to do with them.

We've still got things to fight for but top 4 isn't it. Maybe it's been that pressure. However, again we have an important summer where we need to finally fill that RB position, more of the dacoure/ Allan quality in the midfield and some genuine players who love playing with the football instead of 8 tacklers on the pitch.

Loads of positives this season. However, if we do want to fight it out with the big boys then we have to keep building with quality and fill those glaring holes.

I posted in January that I thought we’d end up regretting not signing a right back. We don’t yet have the squad to cope with injuries.

Yeah I agree JB. losing dacoure as well plus having Digne and James out for periods have not done us any favours.
