Another bad Day at the office today, Iwobi has taken a lot of stick, but I thought for the first 35 mins, he was one of our better players, then we moved him out wide and he was not as effective.

We have to remember that these are the players we have had for the past years, midfield just not good enough and no strength in depth.

When we have Allan, Doucoure, James fit, we look much stronger, however we have never had an extended run, with all three players in the team, add to that a few Months when both our right and left back we're both missing, we have had to have Godfrey playing all over the defence from right to left.

If you look at the bigger picture, if we can get a right back in, we look strong in defence.

Allan, Doucoure and hopefully a fit Gabamin in midfield could make us so much stronger, I feel since his injury, Gomes has lost his metal, that might return next season, still say we rushed him back too soon, for me I would go all out for Abrahams, should Chelsea decide to offload him.

Still some work to do, but I think Carlo, s first signings of Allan, Doucoure, Godfrey and Allan, have improved our team.

A rebuild and wise transfer dealings in the summer will be interesting.

Let us be honest, anything we achieved this season was a bonus, we know the squad is not strong enough, but we need to be patient, recruit wisely, and hope we have better luck on the injury front next season.

Good post big nev I'm in the same mindset as you to this team, the players carlo inherited continue to let him and us down with the exception of a couple, truthfully I didn't expect us to do so well this season but it offers a glimpse to the future once carlo has built his team.

Totally agree with above . The biggest disappointment is that this season is so open top four was achievable . Rome wasn’t built in a day so leave it to Carlo and eventually we will be up there challenging constantly.
