I checked the live chat once and I have to say it was embarrassing we are not at Chelsea's level I expected top 8 this season the fact we are fighting for top 4 is amazing and fans need to realise that. We can not compete with the likes of Chelsea city utd spurs Liverpool ect the fact we are in there should be something we enjoy. now as for tonights game that's not costing us top 4 it was always a tall ask beating Chelsea who have just taken a manager on who going by ED02s take will always get an uplift when he first goes in so they must be favourites for top 4 and we need to be ready if UTD Leicester or Chelsea slip up it's a massive learning curve for this group of players and we will improve each season UTFT let's enjoy this and keep pushing.

100 % agree pal. I looked on some FB posts and it's embarrassing, fans turning on each other! Couple more windows we'll be up there again under Carlo. According to one post I wear Carlo tinted specs 🤷‍♂️.

Lancerboy it's shocking how some fans behave just to be in with a chance of top 4 is beyond what we expected and a reality check is needed and Woburn just what did you expect we would run riot Carlo has worked miracles getting us this far all I have seen so far for the last few weeks is yeah we won but Gomes was crap or Davies was crap and Sigs was crap and Iwobi was crap tell ya what why not just enjoy the ride we are on if we finish in the top 4 let's enjoy it if we don't and we finish top 8 let's applaud the efforts of the whole squad and Carlos.

i don't understand the logic of giving chelsea the posesion to just hit us we could of tried chasing the ball down but we didn't as for player performance there was 2 that really frustrated me tonight one was gomes again every time he gets the ball never passes the ball forward always back what c. a sees in him over davies i don't know and alex iwobi arsenal fans must be buzzing with us buying him all he has got is pace can't pass cross tackle sooner the season finishes and we can try resell some these players the better.

I agree Andy Iwobi has gone back to his poor self again Gomes is off the pace but will get my backing for the time being as I still think his injury last year is effecting him regarding sitting back and letting Chelsea have the ball we have done all season because we can't match them head on but I agree the closing down wasn't good enough last night but let's try and win sat and see how the other ls get on all we can do is take 1 game at a time.

In answer I expected to see the players at least make a effort. And can we stop using Gomes injury as the reason he’s not fit. He is just slow and cannot match the pace of Prem midfielders. We have had luck on our side these last couple of matches, last night it ran out. If you can’t see that you are blind to the bloody obvious.
I mean just look at our goal difference. How many goals come from our midfield in open play? In fact it’s so bad people are even talking about extending Siggys contract?
I was told the other day we were a great team. No we are not. We are a good team on occasions, and an average team most of the time. Which is fine as there are a lot of crap teams in the league this season.
Will Carlo get it right? Who knows. But looking at our bench last night I would suggest it might take longer than people think.

Maybe other supporters just had higher expectations. After all it's the club that have been pushing for European football. So it's only natural that supporters would expect it as well.

No-one should be using Gomes injury as a reason for poor performances. I love the fella but face facts, he is not good enough anymore. He's been back for over a YEAR! Again last night he was giving the ball away in dangerous positions and getting caught. All I would say is last night we had to play him due to Dacoure. Just don't make out we can accommodate playing someone hoping one day he will light up the pitch again.

I felt last night Chelsea were very good with the ball and had better composure. We gave the ball away cheaply and too often but also were not brave enough when we had it. That's not good enough and nothing to do with talent or the opposition.
We will learn over time and Carlo will start to instil that in the players.

Some players like Digne, Gomes, Holgate and Iwobi let themselves down because they didn't perform as they should and that is fine to point out.

The positives were Pickford, Godfrey and Allan and Davies coming back. Which is also fine to point out.
