Quick shout out to Smit.
You have supported Davies all season and on many occasions pointed out his worth to the team, when others including me questioned it.
Well tonight highlighted that in a big way. Not only for the work the guy did, but did anyone notice that when we were going through a kick it anywhere spell. He got the ball on the edge of his own area, and instead of hoofing it away played a perfect pass to Richarlison, which eventually resulted in us getting a penalty.
So well done Smit, and well played Tom. Great to see a young player develop. Think there might still be more to come.

Really hope now he can keep improving into the player that showed so much promise 4 managers ago, think our manager merry-go-round affected his development,
Great win today took our chances well.

Playing players in their natural positions helps. It was 5 3 2 as indicator but 3 5 2 in effect.

I think Tom having a consistent run might be the reason for his improvement. Also that Dm role of getting the ball and recycling it suits him.
What I have always liked about him is his work rate, never backs out of a tackle and is hardly injured.
Let's hope he continues because it will save us 30 odd million.

Manager changes and him being in a midfield with very little quality around him. He has more quality around him now.
