Post sent too early (Ed can you merge the two? )

We have brought better players in (Allan, doicoure etc) and improved existing players (mina, Davies etc) but there is still a long way to go to be top 4. Another few windows of bringing top players in

Carlo is typical Italian boss. Solid defensively and play counter attack. Works better away from home and against top teams who attack you. Hence, our results over last few months.

Anyway, far too early for carlo out shouts and we already safe from relegation so let's enjoy the ups and downs of the rest of the season, starting with 3 points on Saturday.

Carlo out shouts?! I don’t think there ever will be Carlo out shouts myself. We are blessed to have him as our manager and if we’re being honest he could move to a bigger club (in Europe) in an instant. Carlo will be here in two years time unless someone else poaches him. I also believe the guys above him at the club have a say regarding Sig, he’s our most expensive signing ever and if you spent 50 million on something you’re going to want to see it in action ain’t you, as a fan it doesn’t make it right though.

I hope you are right Peter but you know some of our fans want the manager out regardless who he is after a couple bad games.

There are some baffling selection choices but he needs time to buy his own players.

Gomes, Bernard, delph we are not entirely blessed with options to replace sigs but if he could reproduce his Tottenham display more than once a season then we would be better off, Allan is a massive miss in our midfield which still after buying 3 midfielders somehow remains a weak area. This is going to be a series of highs and lows for sometime yet.

Did you see the idiots on the official Twitter account when the team was announced it was embarrassing I'm actually glad no fans were allowed in as the atmosphere would of been poison what happened to suporting the team that's sent out to play.

Yes Brassington. the aim is to be solid defensively like typical Italian football. doesn't mean it always works tho.

Still another 2 summer windows needed for me to see Carlos true team.

So we are still blaming the fans even though their not there?
I would support any team Carlo picked if I thought the players picked where going to have a go. But sadly you know before a ball is kicked the players who are going to let you down.
We are the home team yet we don't even play a striker why?
It's not the supporters fault the team are playing badly, it's the teams.

Blaming the fans is a defunct argument as far as I am concerned, ''the fans'' have been a convenient 'whipping boy' for some posters, now they have a 'cast iron alibi' so forget that excuse and move on .

I think we've played worse without the fans in the ground, we've certainly lost quite a few games at home since none are allowed in.
