What concerns me is that when we get beat our play is absolutely terrible, I wouldn't mind getting beat if we played well or reasonably well, it's baffling at times.

I do think when Carlo reverts to playing his square pegs in round holes we fall apart.
Typically again playing Siggurdsson alongside Richarlison, why? He done the same when Richarlison was out on suspension, the whole balance of the team changes when he does this.

Changing he two central defenders is another one I find it hard to take.

it's obvious to me that Godfrey is more effective in the left full back position as Digne looks weak defending, he needs a rest or play him in front of Godfrey

Unfortunately the ever reliable Holgate has lost his way a bit and appears to be lacking in confidence, as soon as he gets the ball he always passes it back like the ball is a hot potato for him and at times playing others into trouble, he needs resting

no problem having a rant Uran the team were shocking and CA has to take some of the blame for his selection. There were some strange ones which just didn't work. To be fair to CA I actually thought Holgate and Godfrey would be good paring but Holgate had a shocker at CB. At least it gives the management team another indication of where we need to strengthen in the summer.

The reason for losing Sunday is gomes, siggurdson, James, davies you can not play these 4 in the same team it does now work . No legs no pace got outrun in midfield .
James for me is a 10 behind the strikers that's wer he is more affective. Also i understand holgate had a nightmare but any defender would have a bad time when your midfield is nowhere to be seen. My team for tomorrow

With games coming every few days, I don't think CA has much of a choice but to rotate and try and keep everyone fit and rested. As you say, Uran, when he puts certain players in positions that they don't usually play in, we tend to get beat. Unfortunately, I think this will be the way it goes until the next window and reinforcements are brought in. We haven't got the strength and depth right now to cope with the schedule. I think a lot of teams are experiencing the same sort of thing too.
Holgate hasn't been at it since he came back from injury. Eventually, I'd like to see him have a good few games next to Godfrey as that could be our best pairing at CB but Keane, when his confidence is high, has been more consistent so far this season. Digne is coming back from injury and will find his feet again, he is by far our best LB available although Godfrey hasn't really put a foot wrong when asked to play there. He is one of the square pegs in round holes that has actually worked out for us.

We do have a youth system, and apparently it's one of the best in the country. Here's an idea why not play a couple of those in games. It worked for Arsenal, they have a 19 and 20 playing every game now, and it's helped turn them around.
