Against United we have to try and stop Fernandes playing those killer balls into Their strikers, how do we do the that? We also need to physically match up to Luke Shaw who is on fire at this moment and stop his crossing, we need four Ben Godfreys in the back line! Opinions please.

Uran to stop him we need to do what Newcastle did to Rodriguez. Think Fernandes is easily wound up, so if the guys get stuck into him early I could see him losing it. I mean let's face it he's not the cleanest player on the pitch by any means.
It's likely that Iwobi is going to come up against Shaw, so he is going to have to be switched on for the full 90mins, not something he has achieved so far todate.
Hope we don't play Rodriguez out wide right because he will not track back and cover Shaw. Keep him in behind DCL where he can move the ball forward.

Maybe something bit different

Olson
Holgate Mina Keane Godfrey
Allan Doucoure
Richie Rodriguez Digne
DCL

Plenty to offer going forward, Richie will definitely press on Shaw as well
Solid defence.

I am not trying to be a d! ckhead but unlike James Rodriguez, Bruno isn't a wuss and won't go into his shell when someone comes in a bit hard on him.

Bruno I'd a nasty piece of work himself, a bit of KUNT himself. And up until this* point, which is basically a year, Bruno hasn't lost his head too much to get himself sent off.

Also I think you guys are worrying too much about Man Utd. Everton are a good team and can easily beat any team if they perform to their ability.

Whatever happens I would just like to wish Ed025 good luck an+ let's hope we can see a good game instead of another borefest that seems to be the norm these days when teams around the top play each other.

P. S isn't it nice that Man Utd vs Everton can be termed as a genuine top 4 clash?

{Ed025's Note - i just hope we can give a good account of ourselves deeps, there will be a lot of talented players on display and if they do themselves justice it could be a cracker mate..

Not necessarily glt, Newcastle man marked Rodriguez but when the player marking him got booked they simply swapped markers.
We just need to be smart in how we deal with him. But if we stand off and let him play, then the result will be the same as our home game against them.

We need to be tougher on the pitch,

Can't have Holgate at any price. He is too easy to go past and subject to bouts of utter stupidity like the shirt pulling the other night. If they let Rashford at him, I reckon it would only be 50:50 that he'll finish the game. If they want to shore up the right side then Hercules Godfrey would be your man.

Did anyone else think Iwobi had a really good game against Leeds the other night? I thought some of his hold up play was class, and was always tracking runners and helping out Holgate, I'm hoping the arrival of Josh King provokes more from Iwobi.

What I saw was a player work hard first half, but not quite sure who he should be picking up. In the second half he disappeared, needs to get more involved and go looking for the ball. Not wait and see what happens.

He gives the ball away a touch to easy at times.
