It's hard to take that 1/ 3rd of our defeats in league has come at the hands of Newcastle in the league.
Way too much doom and gloom, and I don't know if it's down to the way this season is panning out or the fact we our now expecting more than what we would of settled for at start of season.
The aim as always been to get into Europe and Carlo has always stated that is the goal.
Yesterday was a lazy performance and missed opportunity, personally I would of stuck with the same back 4 that have looked solid, so much space behind our full backs.

Leicester and Leeds have played like that all season and Leeds are below us and Leicester aren't far away if we win our games in hand.
Plus we took 4 points off the fast paced Leicester.

Well we've beaten, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Leicester so why can't we beat Villa and City? Or are they unbeatable? 🤣.

Anything is possible, I guess we can beat them, only right now not many of us fans see us doing it .
Carlo has a 'rep. ' that would erode dramatically in the football world if he cannot improve upon this last outing, because they let him down massively and right now we do not look like a 'top half of the PL ' team in any shape or form.
On paper we do of course though fits and starts only in practice, and to our frustration we looked very wishy washy poor against NUFC !

Smit I would love to be wrong mate, but we are currently in free fall, and nowhere near the level we were at early season. I’m basing my views on our last two games where we were battered by Leicester but managed a draw. And then we’re done by a team who had lost there last five.

We've lost 2 in 9 and everyones heads are falling off. 8th but played 2 less games than all above us. 3pts from 2 games and were 5th.

I think it's the manner we are losing Smitty, that concerns us, if we could blame Jordan (which we can't against NUFC) or 'var', lucky pens. lucky deflection, or quite simply the opposition are light years ahead of us in quality ala Man City, the thing is mate we are looking bloody awful atm.
