Right someone come on here and tell me we are still a good team, and still in the mix.
We have just lost to a team that hasn't won in their last five games, and hadn't scored a goal in their last seven.
Now just think about that for a minute. We are apparently pushing for Europe. So we start with one striker at home against a team struggling to stay in the league.
Pickford-5 shouldn't be in the team.
Digne-5 poor today didn't get forward enough and when he did his crossing was poor.
Keane- 6 Steady but either him or Mina have to mark Wilson at corners.
Mina-6 see Keane.
Coleman- 5 only went forward after their goal, crossing poor.
Dacoure-6 worked hard because nobody else in midfield did. Needs to improve his passing.
Siggurdson-2 was he even on the pitch?
Iwobi-3 what is it with this bloke?
Rodriguez-8 did as much as he could while getting kicked to bits.
Richarlison-5 Offering very little at the moment.
DCL-6 some nice touches but he needs a strike partner as its to easy for defenders to mark him out of game.
Gomes-5 why bother passing very poor.
Manager- 4 far to negative with formation and didn't make changes when needed.
I will remind you all again this was a team that hadn't scored in their last seven games, and they beat us two nil. So let's here no more about Europe or top six. It's not going to happen.

Which players would come into the team to replace them? Take a look at the bench.

I would love to argue with you. But struggling to feel positive. Really does feel like we blew it big time today. My words to my mates were that that was a season ending defeat.

We are still in the mix, but only because other teams are also inconsistent like us. But as someone has said on here before, why is it with Everton that as soon as you feel that we should 100% win a game, we always lose, and we are like a gift that keeps on giving for teams stuck in ruts because we never go after them. This was a game where we should have really gone at them from the get go, but our passive style just let them build confidence as the game went on.

Furious.

We are dire Brassington. It’s a fluke we’re in the top 10. Leeds will be licking their lips after this tripe serving. We were lucky to get a point against Leicester the other day. My Nan could cut through our midfield on her zimmer and it isn’t even the one with wheels. Hopefully several of them will be out the door by the summer. No hunger, bite and I dare say some of them probably couldn’t care less if we lose. I don’t mind losing but losing with no fight really grates.

JB that excuse has been used too many times now. We have young players keen to have a go. Are you seriously saying they would be worse than Sigurdsson and Iwobi were today, and have been for most of the season.
Arsenal were forced into doing this and look how it's paid off.

The only reason we are in the top 10 is because the league is so poor this year - can anybody honestly say that they think we have improved under CA? Team has no personality whatsoever.

I wouldn’t make any excuses for that performance, no. Awful stuff. Players on the pitch have shown they can produce much better. Just saying, the answers were not on the bench today. A 17 year old being hungry does not guarantee a better performance. Better players provide competition and raises the game of others.

I tell you what I would take a 17 year old running around and making an effort, than a thirty year old standing there doing nothing.
