Twice now I have posted that because of some on here, and they know who they are, that I have decided to go to other Everton websites , . I am sick of being told that we are pathetic, and to get a grip, and that we are doom merchants because we have a moan when we play terrible and get beat. these people know who they are and they NEVER have a bad thing to say about the club even when the players have played terrible and the managers have made mistakes . they never have a moan at the club or performance but are quick to call the likes of me who can be very critical at times . well they can have this website to themselves and push another vocal supporter away . I hope this this post makes it to the pages as it's the third time I have sent such a post only for it to go missing? Goodbye all.

{Ed025's Note - they have been waiting for me skylark but my computer was out of action mate, i have no problem whatsoever with people having a moan, if you kow tow to all the people who have a problem with telling the truth then thats up to you, for me i will always tell it like it is and that will never change, if we play awful like we did against west ham i will not be pulling any punches and if we play well i will be lauding them up big time thats just the way it is, running away never solved anything my friend..

Sky, how can anyone say we played like champions against the Hammers for example mate .
If they do they are liars or happy clapping fools, this site should suit every Evertonian with a plethora of opinions, even if I don't agree with all your posts I would defend your right to express your views mate in fact I welcome them and always will.
So keep them coming .

I have no issue with people having a moan and telling it how it is my only gripe is some people (not aimed at you Skylark) forget how well we have done and seem to wait for one bad game to jump all over the team and certain players who are made scapegoats who come under fire even when they have played better than certain other players who are more liked. I hope you stay and carry on posting its called having an opinion.

Skylark - I don't know one poster on this site that hasn't criticised the manager or the team at some point but there are two ends to the spectrum
There are those that can see progress from CA during his ONE year here whether it be the signings of Allan, Rodrigues, Dacoure, Olsen, Godfrey, Nkounkou or Branthwaite or the teams we have beaten this year and far better position we see are ourselves in the league. Of course there are bad games, poor attitude shown, youngsters not tried as often as I would like but there is progress and I am willing to be patient and give CA more time and a couple more windows to influence/ strengthen the squad. I'm 67 so I want to see the team have success soon but CA needs time

You, from your posts, seem to come from the other side of the spectrum. When we play well you say very little but as soon as we have a bad game it's never play these players ever again, the managers deliberately setting us up to lose, we're rubbish. In some ways I can understand the frustration but it's getting us nowhere. Yes - say we had an awful game but try and see the progress that has been made over the year and show patience and support the club

It's your decision whether you stop posting. You've threatened it before and changed your mind. Not sure why but think again on it. I think you would regret it.

Skylark don't leave me on my own mate. I know how you feel. I like everyone else love seeing us win games and give praise where praise is due. But when the teams performances drop to recent levels then it is only right to question why. Let's face it some of the team selections have been a little baffling to say the least.
Perhaps if your like me you remember those golden years of the 80's and so this is why it's hard to accept the level the club is at now. But that doesn't excuse some of the performances of individual players recently, and over the last few months.
On another note I watched Howards Way again yesterday, and again it brought a tear to my eye. The passion those players had for and still have for the club was fantastic. All of them to a man were leaders, and stood up when required. as I say perhaps that's why some of us older supporters struggle with what we are watching now mate.
All the best.

Ed002 gets some stick evan with all the top info he gives us take it with a pinch of salt fella 👍🏻.

Well said Evo - it is a banter site after all.

I like most, try to think if myself as balanced, and get equally annoyed with over optimistic and overly pessimistic views alike.

Being honest the reaction to the West Ham did get me riled more than most. Mainly because it was a single game, not a run of poor results and that is why it felt like some fans were just waiting for the balloon to pop.

But I absolutely think all viewpoints have a right to be aired, the whole point of banter is that it can flare emotions some times, so Sklyark I'd personally take it as a Compliment that you are able to get your opinion across clearly that people react in the way they do.

On a closing note, I too remember the 80s fondly although I was fairly young, however I was at high school/ college during the early 90s and quite frankly those were some of the lowest points for me as an Evertonian - getting abuse from my mate who was a QPR fan eclipses anything from the last few years, so please don't try and claim this is the worst team ever😂.

Supporting everton is like riding a roller coaster full of ups and downs with plenty of twists and turns, this is exactly what this page is about, good or bad with no option to sit round with a pint at local and discuss the performance it happens here.
What ever happens there will be positive and negative posters, its just now we have a manager who has been successfull we expect it straight away, and that's not how it works.
I was critical of the West ham game because it was poor and that's a fact.

It's about perspective, skylark. Of course, not everyone will share the same views but that's what it's about, life would be boring if we were all the same.
Just because some don't moan about the club or players doesn't mean they don't feel as passionate about EFC as you, some people have higher tolerance levels than others! For me, I had the pleasure of watching that 80's team as a child but they have been, for the most part, average at best ever since. I've seen some terrible managers during that time which is why I'm so happy to have a manager of such standing within the game. I can see progress even if it is small steps, they are steps in the right direction all the same.
People will jump on your posts if they feel you're being a bit OTT but we are all here to be shot at when we post a comment or reply so don't take it to heart. As long as there is nothing that can be deemed as personal then just ignore the comments if they are getting to you so much.

Skylark
Your views are your views and you are entitled to air them
Unless the editor takes offence for what ever reason and that doesn’t seem the case
I think you should stay on!
The only thing I would like to say and I am not pointing the finger at anyone is that I personally feel that we shouldn’t single out and publicly destroy any of our players ok we can say is not playing well and so on but not make comments that could hurt their or their family’s feelings as the all have fathers and mothers that will be reading our comments for sure
We all have slightly different opinions on players and in their own right they are all good players but we all know that confidence plays an important role in their performance and tactics
I am like you a passionate Evetonian and get frustrated when we seem to be our own downfall but like a lot that have stated we are in a good position and we can only hope that our performances will now start to improve
Keep with us!
