Just what is it with Everton we have one of the best managers in the world we have had an injection of money but it just feels like we will never get any better or win anything it's almost as if we are cursed . Since Moyes left and we have had FM come in and now have CA, have we really moved on and got any better? something still just doesn't seem right I know we just keep.

What Carlo has done so far is excellent, but we have so many poor players that still need replacing this is going to take time, no quick fix I'm afraid,

Couldn't agree more Skylark. You get the feeling if CA was in charge elsewhere in the Prem with Moshiri's money performances and results would be better. I too think we are cursed in some way.

We were in such a mess before he came, and now we are paying the price, no easy fix, will need another couple of Windows for sure, on the bright side we have probably the best manager in the Premiership, we are in far better shape than this time last season.

Time is always needed when a new manager comes in and starts to mould his own team, the problem is that we had too many in short space of time. We can slate FM for getting it wrong with his managerial appointments if you like but we have to remember that he's backed every one of them. So we've got to be grateful that he's at least tried, albeit wasting huge sums of his cash in the process.
Now, if you believe that we now have the right manager to move us forward and take that next step, he also has to be given time. There's some of the current squad that will be moved on and replaced but it will be over a few windows. It's annoying but we have to be patient again. It's unfortunate, skylark, but I'm a lot happier giving CA time than I have been with some of the others.

We've won 8 drew 1 and lost three this season. Hardly cursed. A team needs time to get to know each other and the biggest problem we've had is the amount of players we keep bringing in. 3 at the most each season is enough but this season we had to fill too many poor players.

3 points is 3 points and I'll take them playing good or bad. I'm amazed you're saying this after a WIN!

BlueJohn - some people never happy. Agree with what you and guernsey are saying.
This is a project and to think we’ve not improved is ludicrous. We’ve got a world class manager and we’re building a team.
We won today and whilst it was horrible to watch the second half we still got the 3pts.
We’re still in the league cup and have a decent chance of getting to a final.

This obsession with moyes is ridiculous - he was with us for 11 years and we won nothing! I repeat nothing in 11 years!

To think after less than a year with Carlo at the helm we haven’t improved is crazy.

If you’re going to judge him then at least give him one full season.

I was glad to see Moyes gone, I never said anything good about him? I just said have we as a club moved on and really got any better, I have no obsession with Moyes at all.

Skylark you will never win an argument on here mate. Fact is we were superb in the first half against a very poor team. Second half we were awful and only won it due to Fulham’s awful finishing. Yes I’m happy to get the three points. But conceded two goals again today, keep doing that and you can kiss goodbye to any cups this year. And that’s not being negative, it’s being realistic.

I think when Holgate is up to speed we will stop leakimg goals. As much as mina has his qualities in defence he just isn't mobile enough and was at fault for the first and arguably the second. Keane would be great in the centre of 3 CBs.
