Our club is rotten to the core, the squad have no passion, the coaching team have no tactical knowledge and no ability to motivate players amd the recruitment is just disgusting. Not one of the players play like they want to be here, we have no quality in the squad. Its a telling sign that Moise Kean looked terrible for us, but is now motivated and getting real coaching, he is now playing well. Its not possible for us to do, but only solution would be to tear up everyones contract and start again. I fear we will be in League 1 before we can get these players off the books. Terrible management at board/ director level and also management of the players means we are just going to slide to the bottom of the table, even Fulham showed fight last night, something not one of our players have an ounce of. Disgrace is the only word I can find for this squad, coaching staff and executive team.

{Ed025's Note - wow just wow, talk about over the top gold!, i believe we are getting there slowly but shortly and yes we have faults but come on, 3 weeks ago we were unbeaten and top of the league, we have some very good players and a world class manager so im really looking forward to the future, yes we have some dross but that is being addressed and rome was not built in a day mate, get a grip fella..

Is this the same Dgold who was getting excited at the players we were linked with and then brought in as well as the same Dgold who in August this year said we need stability?
As Ed says get a grip fella.

You been drinking DG! Ancillaries one of the best most respected Coach/ Managers in the World. We lost yesterday because no Richie to take pressure off our right - Rodriguez is an effective player but brings a weakness when played out wide Utd knew this and WBA knew this so target him. If possible (January notoriously difficult) Carlo/ Brands will address the RWB issue and suspect bring in another RB. For me meanwhile I would bring Mina back in at CB, push Holgate in front of back 4. Alan and Decoure in front of him, Richie, DCL, Rodriguez.

DGold angry is OK, me too lot of the time, however there is so much there in your OP that just doesn't add up

look at Carlo's record you just cannot dismiss that after a few poor games, Kean is playing for PSG up against what is equal to our second tier at best PL relegation battlers.

EFC has had terrible recruitment over the years imho that is where the remedy lies, the nucleus of a very strong squad is in it's infancy, and what you are asking for is actually happening now .

Even the Red Army wouldn't go that far.

I agree with some of gold's comments and also agree with all the replies but please let's not use rickys absence as an excuse for the past three defeats if we are going to get beat every time he doesn't play then our squad is worse than I thought.

To be honest, I don't see any players worth keeping the squad, with the exception of Richarlison. I don't like to individually name players who are playing poorly as there can be many causes for this, but a lot of these players have the wrong attitude and/ or just not good enough. I was excited in August, but I think it was more hope that we can finally turn around, but seems misplaced at the moment. Carlo has had success in the past, but has just been shown up by Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, a poor manager who only had 36 hours to get his players ready for the game. I have been disappointed with the blues for years, but this season is shaping up to be the most diappointing we have had. Believe it or not, I really hope i'm wrong, would love nothing more than to see them turn this around.

Honest mate I do think your'e wrong, (what you say about Solksjaer is spot on though I agree) , maybe it's the sudden changes that have got to you i. e, this bi-polar swing in our fortunes, however we don't need to throw the baby out with the bathwater do we.

Whatever we have now and whatever we have to get shut of should be differentiated with a calm mind .

Well over the top. Last window was a good window but there are still many cracks within the squad. Coleman has been in better form recently but right back is a problem area along with goalkeeper and right wing (we lack width in general) remember we have had years of instability and poor decisions, like other posters have said it will take time. I don't expect us to look a real quality team for another 2 or 3 seasons.

Lots of rubbish spouted on here again 4 weeks ago everyone was over the moon now 3 losses in row and we are back to last seasons negativity, one window was not going to solve our problems, I’m as angry as anyone else not through the defeats but the fact we have not played with the same intensity and pressing as the first round of matches consistency is what separates the best from the rest, every team in this league is capable of beating each other as we all know, but constancy takes time and winning football matches when not playing well takes time everyone keeps going on about GK but central defence is still massive issue as 2 goals proved yesterday.
