After 6 games the Prem is still sorting itself out. Can see us and Villa falling away (7th or 8th for us but would snatch your arm off for a given 6th) , with the usual suspects coming through. See what happens in January.

DFS, I am hoping for us to keep in touching distance with the leading pack and tbh mate, right now I can't get my head round the situation with no fans in the stadium etc .
Could it affect things in a really extraordinary way or is it business as usual?

We were never going to get all replacements in the last window will take another couple at least, Team had a blip on Sun but will get better.

I think you'll be fighting for top four, don't be so harsh on your team. To do it year in year out need a bit of squad depth added but your first 11 will compete with most.
It will be a topsy turvy season with plenty of injuries and players testing positive/ isolating. Around 75 points will put you in touching distance of top four. That's 20 wins from the remaining 32 games. Think your more then capable of that.

{Ed025's Note - i still worry about our squad depth WYred but this is a very strange season in very strange times mate...so why not..

Thats your weak link but plenty are in the same boat united with fernandes, spurs with son and kane and Chelsea but that's more about lamps being inexperienced and arsenal can't score at the minute. I genuinely think its anyones game plus City also have loads of injuries and it still remains to be see how we do.

We've scored the 4th highest amount of points in the prem since Ancelotti took over so that makes me think we can do better than 6th.

If we can address a couple of areas in Jan which isn’t far off
A cheeky loan at RB for cover ahead of a new starter in the summer, think Seamus has been amazing and could still do great as backup
Depth at striker, saw Milik could be available for 6.5m as will have just 6 month’s left on his contract
See what else happens.

When you consider our injury list and suspensions
Two right backs
Two centre halves
One left back
One defensive midfielder
One right wing / striker,

Plus we have people obviously struggling with injuries but playing and people coming back from injury and needing game time, and people playing out of position

I think we’re doing more than okay, previously with that many out we’d be relegation fodder,

We just need to survive the Newcastle game I’d be happy with any points we can obviously a win keeps us top and then the international break may just give us a chance to get people back and firing on all cylinders again

UTFT.

{Ed025's Note - yeah BigC we are doing very well considering, the players that came in last week though need to either step up or ship out, we cant afford passengers and i would sooner bring in the young lads instead of these prima-donnas mate..
