Morning Blues and Ed’s I hope you are all well!

Ed’s just a quick question, how close are the figures banded about by sky and other news outlets for players?

Obviously the latest been £25 mil + for Godfrey, It does seem a little high for a player that has only had one season in the prem and a handful of games in the championship.

I don’t want to get too caught up in the numbers but it does seem strange, if that figure is correct and we haven’t managed to move anybody on surely we are plunging ourselves into a deeper FFP hole?

Either way at least we have a team capable of playing football again and a midfield that don’t look like there stuck in mud!

Hi Ed, sorry to hear you've been getting abuse. From my perspective and i just want to ay thanks for the contribution you always make. Its honest information and unfortunately some people don't like the truth. I honestly believe the majority on here are decent fans but you'll always going to get few bad eggs. I hope a time comes again in the future where uou will be able to share Everton information again. So thanks again and hopefully things will calm down once the transfer window closes.

Well said Kerrytoffee - Totally agree with what you say, some fans don’t like the truth and honest opinions.
Hopefully we won’t be without Ed002’s knowledge and input for too long as it’s a shame that the minority spoil it for the majority of us who like and respect the knowledge and information shared.

You only have to see the posts Ed002 gets, surprises me he even bothers with some of that toxic stuff, luckily its only a very small minority, the majority of us really appreciate his vast knowledge and hope he is back firing on all cylinders soon.

Ed002. Doesn't suffer fools (think I was one) . I understand very well the contacts and knowledge. Comes across as caustic but takes aim well. I for one appreciate it. Don't ask the question if you won't like the answer!
