With talk of Moise off and money tight would it not be wise to promote Ellis Simms to the first team rather than spending more money this window?

I know we'd all love a top class striker but with financial fair play we won't be able to afford a really decent one so why not give Ellis a chance and look at buying a new striker next season if we still need one?

Totally agree Ginger let’s give the lad a chance, if it doesn’t work we can play Richarlison upfront and Gordon on the left.

Anyone coming in is going to have to be 3rd choice so getting a quality striker is tough. Is Simms ready? I don't think so.
Kean for as bad as he looks has scored 1 in 2 everytime he's started. Maybe just stick with him for another season, hope he bags a few and make a tidy profit on him next summer.

I would. Surely he deserves a chance.
It will be a long season for DCL and Richarlison if nobody else brought in.
Need x4 - Richarlison, DCL, Ellis - I thought Callum Wilson would have been an option and was suprised we were not bidding. He might be this years Danny Ings.

Cant see any benefit of changing our system with one up front and Sigurtson sitting behind just to give them a rest - but our transfer policy has caught up with us

I would have liked to have seen Ellis and Gibson yesterday - Gibson ? What’s going on with him? - surely if he is good enough we don’t need a centre half but coaches mustn’t fancy him.

If Simms was ready he'd be in already. And Moise needs get out of our club ASAP.
Not sure what that debacle was after he finally scored his penalty. No. Smile, ignoring Gordon, general sulk.
If I was Gordon, I'd have pulled his armpit hair and stood on his toes, rude beyond belief.

Heart is not in it, playing for Everton, we need to offload in my opinion, and either give Simms a chance, or bring another striker in.
