Impossible not to agree with all the criticism today, when you have a goalkeeper who can't do the bread and butter things the whole defence lacks confidence, having said that passing and commitment none existent, but why? afraid we have some bad eggs at the club, no idea who though but yesterday looked like all of them. CA is not getting through to them, my worry is he has always worked at top clubs with top players and loads of cash, has he ever built a team from scratch? read once that Glenn Hoddle used to undermine some of his players because they couldn't do what he could as a player, CA is trying to get them playing the type of football all his top teams played, which is admirable, but you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear, maybe just maybe this is not the right job for him, he must be given time but suspect it will all end in more tears when he has had enough, unfortunately not really seen any real improvement over last four managers.

I think it’s down to the players. If they can’t meet his standards then recruit ones that can. The difficulty will be getting them. But that’s why we have a transfer system. I’m not saying we can just go shopping for what we want. But a slow build with a patient board will do for now.

{Ed025's Note - the problem ace will be getting shot of the ones we dont want, they are all on fantastic money and mostly long contracts...it wont be easy mate..

Yes, very true Ed. It’s a tall order but we have one of the best DoF in the business. I’m hoping the reports are true that he is no longer having interference from so called advisors and can now do his job more effectively.

And why shouldn't he try to get the team playing that way, most that team cost a fair few quid I'd expect more much more than we have seen, it hurts seeing the team this way but I expect carlo to chop out the rot but not in the time frame most of us impatient folks expect, he is left holding 4 managers worth of mistakes here. I'm fairly confident in my thinking his brief was safety, work out any players you want, rebuild starts now pretty much. We won't see a wholesale team change but I suspect we saw the last of a few in yesterday's shambles.

i am baffled how people are already questioning CA he joined the club in DEC and did the right thing in seeing what he had before making his mind up we can not keep sacking managers let's be patient something our fans are not and this time enjoy the ride with a world class manager and a DOF who will hopefully be able to do his job.

If Ancellotti can’t sort this out then no one can, trust him we need to give this time there will be a massive improvement next season but we can’t expect to be top 6 I think he needs 2 seasons to challenge for top 4 that gives him 4 windows to build a side to challenge.
I think we will bring in 3/ 4 with 2 being permanent and 2 loans.

{Ed025's Note - i think 4 windows is pushing it a bit metz, his hands will be tied by not only the overpaid salaries the players are on but FFP as well, and not to mention the financial constraints we will have due to covid 19, what we do need to see is gradual improvement and a plan imo mate..

Why would Moshri spend an absolute fortune on getting Ancellotti in to not back him it’ would be like getting the best chef and buying him rubbish ingredients to cook with 4 windows is a realistic time to get a side capable of challenging.

The Same Moshiri who employed Koeman then Alerdyce then chased Silva like the second coming. The same man who allowed his money to be spent on Sigurdson, Tosun, Klassen, Sandro’s wages, Alex Iwobi 🙈. I hope your right Trueblue 🤞🏼.
