Never been so embarrassed. these current Everton players are so vastly overpaid, and based on all of their performances over the last 5/ 6weeks, they should all be made to donate every penny of their Salaries to Local Charities. There is no commitment to the shirt, no understanding or cohesion, they can't even pass to each other cleanly, and the amount of times Everton players just put the ball into touch with a mislaid pass today was unreal. I imagine that Ancellotti has got his Transfer targets already, but I really believe He needs to go and buy a top class Keeper, because Pickford is not the answer He is to erratic and He doesn't command his area like most of the Keepers we've had in the past. Southall, Nigel Martyn, Tim Howard. Pickford doesn't make the defenders in front of him feel confident. A few years ago, I spoke with Neville Southall at a Book Signing in a local Book Shop, just after we'd signed Pickford, and He mentioned then that he was concerned about the fact that Pickford "needs to learn to command his area"? He hasn't! After listening to Sean Dyhce speaking about Burnley's financial probelems, I would suggest the Everton Board go and offer them what they might want for Nick Pope, before anyone else bids for him! Tom Davies doesn't have a future at Everton, after looking like He may turn into a decent player at England Under 21 level, he has been left standing by the likes of Mason Mount, Harry Winks. Davies is in too much of a comfort zone and for me doesn't really offer much going forward. Gomes is still regaining fitness after his injury but he has no pace at all. couldn't catch a bus! He doesn't shoot enough from midfield, and he needs a holding player alongside him to enable him to link the play and not have to worry about defending all the time. Michael Keane is never go to be the next Virgil Van Dyk, plays far too many backward or sideways balls, doesn't look confident on the ball. Since Ancellotti came in He has been experimenting with his formations during games to see just how the players adapt? Most of them don't seem able to do so. I look at all the Academy Talents coming through at Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal and boy do they look good for the future. so just where are all the "kids" who played for David Unsworth and won 2 consecutive Under21/ 23 Titles? Today, we were 2-1 down and Ancellotti puts Bernard on? We have all seen just how much He "can't"do because he is so lightweight. why didn't he give young Simms 15mins game time. the lad apparently has been scoring goals for fun. I am probably only echoing what most of you on here are feeling. but I have been a Blue for nearly 60years now and like all of you I have become bemused, deflated, frustrated at the lack of anything that might just give us a glimmer of something approaching success. but NO! It's gone on far too long now and we don't seem to be getting any nearer to looking like a decent Team. and I've experienced some very, very poor Everton Teams over the years. I for one don't envy Ancellotti. it takes time to build a team and instill a new culture. but I was hoping that my son who is 25 would be able to experience watching an Everton Team like Harry Cattericks 69/ 70 side and Howard Kendall's great Team from 84/ 85.and I would dearly love to see something like that once again myself. but it looks a long ways off doesn't it? Rant over. never happy us Evertonians are we, but we are long suffering. Take Care and Be Good everybody. COYB.

Nice rant mate, but let just say a big thanks to Leighton Baines who over the 13years he played for us give his all in every game.
