After watching a few Bundesliga games it's fair to say the experience without crowd noise is pretty crap.

I was thinking and on Fifa no two games are the same and the virtual crowd reacts instantaneously and uniquely with the play.

Surely there would be a way to use that technology for the games on TV.

I was thinking about this crowd situation there’s a team I think in Germany who have allowed fans to have life size cardboard cut outs of themselves where their seat is, hopefully they don’t get ruined by the weather!
I was wondering if there was a way, with all these games being shown on tv, to link up a speaker system and supporters looping in to a conferencing style platform and could then get some crowd reaction to events coming out over the speakers
Not as good as a live crowd but perhaps making something of the situation and give something for the home fans.

No chance of a zoom style fan atmosphere. You would 100% get masses of trolls invading each game. Unless you could somehow cherrypick “trusted” supporters of course.

You would only send participant details to season ticket holders, you control the access.

Good idea mate. The cynical side in me believes people would still find a way to get in to it though.

If it could be done though it’s definitely the most organic way to replicate a match day atmosphere.
