i just wish the premier league fa come out and say look heres the date we would like to restart all i have heard is project restart and also this talk of votes to not play at different venues and police can't do home matches.

listen liverpool deserve win prem regardless what happens if we can play the last 9 games happy days if not just say we can't do it and the league gets based on points per game cause that's the only way its going to get solved and whoever gets relegated so be it including top 4 and europe league places.

Try telling Aston Villa that PPG is the only way to do it as that's unfair on them it doesn't take into account who you have left to play or who you have played if it was is in Villas place would you accept PPG.

Totally agree brank- ppg will benefit some teams and seriously hinder others as you say doesn’t take in to account teams already played and the possibility of an easier run in for some teams. Definitely wouldn’t benefit us as a team and I’d have been hopeful we would have picked up a fair few points in the run-in compared to what ppg would give us.

wa can agree or disagree as its other opinions and i respect them but if it was us in aston villas shoes we deserve to go down but some fans on here got to understand where not consistent enough just expect cause we have spent all that money where are we now nowhere we have got huge wages most of are team has got bang average players and also forgetting ffp is on are ass so flip the coin if we was in the bottom 3 now and we had points per game you're telling me we woudnt deserve to go down with the team we have currently got?

I don’t expect anything from Everton apart from them always disappointing us as fans - hoping it may change at some point.

Personally I believe if the season isn’t able to be finished then it should probably be voided - no relegation no champions etc.
Admittedly this will be a disaster but I can’t see a fair way to settle league with so many variables still possible.

The ppg calculation isn’t a fair way to settle a league there is so much that could still happen in the last 9 games, teams have a good run or a bad run, players get injured, teams have a potentially easy or hard run in etc.

Glad it’s not me having to make the decisions though as whatever is decided or happens there’ll be numerous teams/ fans not happy.

yeah course i agree with you it isn't fair but at same time if it does happen some one is going to lose out i want it to return i do and under c. a i have no doubt we will be back to are best form and it will take few years for us to do so but if club owners don't want neutral stadiums and the police won't do the home matches and players are worried about returning which again i don't blame them if they didn't then we havnt got much options i don't want ppg rather play the season out but that's just my opinion.

I don't agree that they deserve to yo down, there is a quarter of the season left to play. The 3 teams that deserve to go down are the ones with the least points after 38 games. Which may or may not include Aston villa. The only thing that is sure is that Liverpool deserve to win the because there's no doubt they would have the most points after 38 games!

say if it was ppg and they do go down are you still going to say they don't deserve to go down haha so who do you think that doesn't deserve to go down then like i said hope they can resume the premier league but if it does go to ppg then so be it for whoever goes down unless you freeze relegation and then you promote leeds and west brom and expand the premier league.

I have supported this Club since the 50's. May I say, what is more important to some of you, the return of football be it behind doors or the return to health of very many of our citizens. Liverpool currently has one of the highest cases in our district.

I agree Bill - health over football or any sport.

It’s difficult to award Liverpool title As then where does it stop. Do we say Leeds and West Brom where also going to go up and Norwich should definitely go down.

I think more realistic options:
1. Void season - which I don’t like. I do think Liverpool deserve the title as much as I won’t like it
2. Points after each team played each other once - take away the second game of those played points
3. Play each other once next season and finish This years league and cup into next season (maybe CL and Europa cup go straight into knock out for next year and maybe in tournament style rounds so logistics of where games will be played will be sorted)

No pretty options - EFC where not going to win anything, qualify for Europe, go down so it doesn’t effect us.
Unfortunately and frustratingly we have had very little significance in the PL since it started.

{Ed002's Note - There is no, and never has been an option to void the season. This is simply nonsense.}

No need to be ascerbic Ed, I amongst many others have welcomed your obvious understanding and knowledge of the game and its behind doors machinations. There is absolutely no way however that you can possibly make such a comment as voiding the season is not an option. Should this current situation last (god forbid) into September or even October for instance what then to beginning the new season. Respect mate but to state nonsense when you, I nor anyone else have a scooby is the true nonsense.
