I would like to ask the question. Are their any Under 23 midfielders at the club, that haven't been given a chance to show what they have. Because our Midfield is rubbish. Delph Davies Sigs and Sneiderlan are really not up to it. Or maybe promoting a centre back and Mason Holgate in Midfield.

We have some really good talent in our youth systems below the first team but never get the given the opportunity to show their worth, Shame.

What does it matter if we do?
For some reason Schneiderlin and Sigurdson still get picked - we could have the next Messi, ronaldo or iniesta in the under 23s but they won’t get a chance.
Not sure how Sigurdson and Schneiderlin do it but to get 4 managers to pick them is baffling.
I’m hoping Ancellotti will break this cycle and will realise how bad they are and stop picking them.

adeniran beni been training with the first for aslong as i can remember now, same with gibson and feeney at cb when will we see any of them? if we havnt seen any of them already when we're on the bones of our bottoms are they good enough anyway?

That's the age old argument, wblue, if they have been exposed to first team training but not getting any time on the pitch then are they ready? Reserve team football has changed so much in the premier league era, from what I've seen it is nowhere near the standard it used to be. It certainly doesn't give us an idea of if a player will be able to step up to the first team. I want to see some of them make the first team squad but only if the management believe that they will cope in that environment, no point bringing players from the developement squad if they can't hold their own, it will only stifle their progress in the long run.

As if the last 3 managers haven't spelt this out for us yet. luckily fans don't pick the 1st 11.

I think it's safe to assume that we don't have a mini Messi or Ronaldo sat in our youth ranks. We have a brilliant u23s setup, one to be proud of.
The way to play the kids like has been demanded above is to be winning. Most of the time, so that we can introduce kids into a winning team. Into a team that is fighting in all comps and due to congestion (direct result of success) needs must at times.

Not looking at the European and World champions wondering why our club isn't healthy enough to play the kids. Madness.

The best news from last night was that. CARLO stated he hadn't been on the training pitches yet. Think this week will be good for that. Still some players can turn this around.
But like it or not, we must spend and bigger than ever this summer. Or we will never make a dent on the top 6.

The problem at the training ground must be deep routed. If we can’t produce youngsters better than the lot that played against Liverpool’s youth team on Sunday Then it’s not worth having a youth system at Everton.

Now CA will be able to see all players in training rather than rely on others opinions we might see some of u23s promoted CB, CM, and RM.

Possibly play Delph/ Baines LB and Digne LW like Coleman and Sidibe.

I thought Beni looked good when I have seen him. Surely he is worth a pop. Probably better playing with 9 men than having Sigurdson and Sneiderlin.

beni is injured yes, a shout for it could have been markelo who is regarded highly at the club, however never gets a look in and didn't even get minutes out in tanzania for the friendlies in summer.
