Sad end to a spirited performance today. This result was not the managers fault but likely to be sacked soon surely.

Said it from the beginning Ed47, absolutely no evidence or logic for his position at this level. Addon and when he finally goes (I fear our board will still dither) , he should not like Pardew get another job at this level.

It’s for me, no different, than the likes of Moyes and Hughes being linked with replacing him, just why?

Work for 18 months, sacked, pay off, back in the pool, picked again, sacked, pay off, back in the pool, and so it goes on and on and on. Clubs are happy to take them on for their supposed experience, yet few up and coming managers get a chance.

I actually like Moyes and think he could stabilise us. We didn't win anything but we were consistent in the top 7. It is also false to say he failed at Utd, look at his stats. However, as he has said himself it is impossible for a return considering the fans feelings toward him. Recent couple of beers, Moyes good bloke, Lawrenson not so much LOL.

I can see why he would come ed047 attractive league money etc but in the other hand the Everton job is becoming like the Newcastle one where nobody wants to touch it and could ruin your career 🤷🏽‍♂️.

I do agree with you ed on what moshiri has to offer. But some of our fan base has turned a little bit toxic over the last few years and managers don’t get the time to establish themselves as They never get the chance from the off!

{Ed047's Note - Martinez, Koeman, Unsworth, Allardyce and Silva not one of them in truth were going to take you anywhere.

I think fans quickly realised that hence why it gets toxic.

None of them were ever likely to get you up into the top 6 and beyond.

Ten Haag or Pochettino are much more likely to that for me.

Yes Ed 100% agree with you them 2 managers our levels above our recent managers I would hope the club does try for a manager on that type of level but it would be hard midseason. I honestly think we should of went for Brendan Rogers think he’s a great manager and think arsenal should push hard for him now.

Said it all the time Ed25 and been consistent in that. Don't give a toss if the perception is good to watch the aim of the game is win. Watch my Grandson every Sunday, I think he is okay (we all do of course for ours) , now and again he does a Beckenbaur and steps out and yeah okay I think. What he does do best as Captain is take responsibility, row Z means row Z. In short if it is 1-0 then 1-0 it is.
