Bill wanted Moyes when we sacked Koeman but Walsh got his way and we ended up with Allardyce. Let's hope Brands gets the final nod on the next guy.

{Ed002's Note - That certainly won't happen.}

Listening to Sky the other day Moshiri wants to give Silva more time but is disappointed with what he is seeing on the pitch, Bill wants Moyes back short term and Eddie Howe is the favourite of other members of the board
Was no mention of Arteta or any other candidates
Basically, nobody at the club has a clue what to do or who to appoint! 🤦🏻‍♂️.

I'd I was on Everton board I'd try everything to get the Leeds manager
I think he would suit Everton to a tee
Hope you boys sort it out always preferred you boys to the other side of the city.

5 more games with Mr Silva in charge and it won't make any difference who we appoint. Alardyce anyone!

Well that's cheered me right up. Thanks Ed.

Led to believe in the discussions/ meeting to discuss Mr Silva, there were 4 people involved Mr Moshri, Mr Kenwright, CEO (I have forgotten the ladies name sorry) and Mr Brands as DoF. If paper talk is believed Mr Kenwright once again pushed for Moyes but the decision was as we now see it. Does Mr Brands have a say as DoF is one question; the other is prior to Mr Silva being hired didn't Mr Brands recommend Mr Silva!

moshiri wants rid, but hasn't got a suitable replacement yet, it looks bad either way for him i'm afriad, if he bulleted him without a replacement on the weekend people would moan, he thought about replacing temp with moyes, people would moan, so he has kept him on whilst trying to find a good replacement (people have moaned) think i'd have rather he done that to be honest, you'll see now a list being drawn up as they have decided this isn't the man to take us forward. its like how emeery will get the bullet today, but the arsenal board have known for a couple weeks now was same with poch.

No Fat Sam, BCT, don't wish that on us all again!

Bluepotato I am with you on that, he was appointed to soon, however ugly football or not the bloke got us up to 8th and in my view should have seen out his 18 months, meanwhile due diligence on replacement should have happened. Silva was certainly a mistake, the result is here for all to see and frustratingly it was predicted without the need of a crystal ball. The lesson however has still not been learned, with the names being banded about as replacement; Hughes! Someone is having a laugh.

I'd accept relegation before having big sam back.

I gave up my season ticket before they announced Sam would be leaving, couldn't go through another match with him in charge let alone another 12 months mate. I think Hughes having his name thrown in the hat is just paper talk mate, the fans will stay away if he is given the job.
I never wanted Silva, indeed I wasn't thrilled with the last 3 appointments, but he still had to be given a chance once getting the job. I think he's one of those managers that rely heavily on his assistant, once his long standing right hand man left to take on his own managerial role it has caused a few ripples that Silva hasn't been able to deal with.
The job has become a poisoned chalice which is why, despite everyone knowing that Silva is hanging on by his fingernails, nobody seems to want it. Nobody the fans would want anyway. I really don't know how he's managed to get through the week still in charge.

Neither do I potato. I really expected him to go the day after the Norwich game. I've never seen a team have such little creative activity. All they want to do is pass it around the back 4, no movement or through balls.

I watched a clip of some Vardy's goals from the last 2 seasons and we are leaps and bounds behind them. So direct, no messing around like we do. Waiting forever for an opening that never comes and we can't create.

We aren't that far behind leicester mate. It wasnt long ago they couldn't put the ball in the net with Puel in charge.
Puel had them solid at the back playing boring dull football. I'll predict that once Rodgers has trained that solidity out of them they'll go back to being a middle of the table team.
Its known as the Martinoyes syndrome.
