like to give a special mension to mason holgate and tom davies, young lads have come back into the fold and gripped the chance with both hands, holgate looks a natural partner for mina and tom's level head has been an asset to the midfield.

They have both stepped up excellent players I would say Seamus will struggle to get on the team sheet with Holgate doing an great job also Tom is a good understudy while Gomes is injured.

How does Seamus struggle due to the form of Holgate? Possibly mean Sidibe?
I think Sidibe is turning into a very astute signing. Took a little time to get his spot but we saw the same with Digne last year replacing Baines - don't rush him into the team, allow him to settle and then make the position his to lose.
My worry would be whether Sidibe is now happy to consider a permanent move. It was pretty evident that he was unhappy not to be playing and i wonder whether he will now reject us due to that or if he accepts that he had to bide his time.

Tom should not be an understudy to anyone, he is a different player to Gomes and should be in the side based on his performance which has been excellent. One of my pet peeves with Silva is that he has played Schneiderlin over Davies this year, hopefully he has finally learned his lesson.

tom been brilliant and has gave silva a real issue, if gomes had not been injured and gbamin due to return in january, he'd have a real selection headache.

Davis is a player he is the sort of player that makes the midfielders around him better because of his energy levels don’t underestimate what he brings to this team.

I will admit to doubting the lad last season, but am really happy to see him doing well. You can tell he has club at heart, and its that type of attitude that will hopefully push us through this period we are in. Not only that, his performance levels have risen to a level he can be proud of. Also, really impressed with Holgate since he came back in the team, should have been brought back in earlier imo but glad he is in now.
