It just shows reading the posts below re a new manager none of us are going to choose the same, we have to all get behind whoever is our manager.

GB my dad never forgave the Taxi ride sacking and always said Carey this Carey that even when HC and the lads were lifting the silverware lol
Same with players ''not fit to tie Deans Boots '' etc etc.
Except when he was at the match, then he was like the rest, right behind the team mate!

Silva is our manager and we need to get behind him until he is gone GB.
When that will be, who knows.

I am sorry GB, but whilst I’m not quite there yet with the ‘end of silva’ brigade and he has my backing somewhat. I have to admit that when SA was our manager I could not bring myself to ‘get behind our manager’. The club yes, fans with different opinions or expectations yes, the players who were in my eyes trying - yes. But getting behind that appointment I never did and never would. Blindly following whoever is in charge because they have been appointed doesn’t wash with me! Maybe I take the political viewpoint, I. e. I love my country but I would note vote on policy just to get behind my political leader 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Well GB non of us will be picking the next manager. What I see is almost 40,000 supporters at home games and a fantastic number at away games, all hoping that they will see a team that they can be proud of. In addition you have supporters like us who sit in front of the TV week in week out. What are we getting in return? A bunch of highly paid players, a lot of whom just wander around the pitch aimlessly. We also have a manager who has one way of playing and when that doesn't work, he has no alternative strategy. Yes all good supporters will get behind Silva and the team, but the last thing any of us want is to see us in a relegation battle. I am old enough to have seen us relegated and I don't want to see it happen again. If Silva can't get us winning and soon, he has to go, this is our club with a life time of commitment and Silva is just a short term employee.

Getting behind the manager indicates that we don't want change and he will just be here longer.

Fan protests got Martinez out, if we "got behind the manager" then we would probably be in league 1 by now.

A point I have been making all along blue247. At the match keep your dirty washing at home, sound off at home and head for divorce LOL.
