We have not performed well this season but we don't fire the boss. Moshiri may give him more time. I would love to see the players turn it round (not so much Silva as I'm starting to fall on the Silva out side of the fence) but players got to take some of the blame for the results.
They seem to think they got time on the ball. Showing no urgency, fight or passion. Completely agree with giving Davies a go. He can be headless chicken and is not consistent but he does give us something different. We are missing Gomes too. He is the one who does have time on the ball and can play forwards.
If I was doing player rating can't think of anyone who would get more than a 5 today. Also agree with dropping siggy for couple games. Always slows play down. Maybe Bernard in there with iwobi and richy wide, maybe try:

Pickford

Sidibe
Keane
Mina (cos no other cb's)
Digne

Delph

Richy
Bernard
Iwobi

Kean.

Maybe not against city but today we didn't need 2 holding surely.

Agreed. Think he'll be given more time to sort the defence out, even though everyone who knows football knew we need it this summer.

If Brands and Moshiri want to have a half decent season then they need to act now. Leaving it any longer will be disastrous.

I’ve just read that we’ve never come from behind to win under Silva, which says everything you need to know about his man-management, motivational and tactical skills.

We’ve also conceded more goals from set pieces than any other premier league team during his time at Goodison.

Added to that is the fact he has not improved a single player during his tenure, if anything most have seemingly gone backward.

Based on the above surely Brands - a highly respected and knowledgeable man who now has a fair amount of control being on the board - won’t hive him much (if any) longer) ? There are absolutely no signs that he can turn it around so why wait? Next week could be a bloodbath against City.

2 holding at home? Maybe away to a top side, but 2 can't hold back the blades? Hardly a side that fans of other teams aspire to match. "cant wait till we can compete with the likes of Sheffield utd"
