Iwobi is a top signing in my opinion. Only 23 and at this stage in his career is a better player than Zaha was. Strong, fast, good on the ball and ability to get past defenders. If we can improve his end product we are laughing.

On the other hand I'd like to address the many fans up in arms over Zaha not being signed. Everton came out and denied that we made a second bid after the first was rejected. Why are people disappointed after this? Everyone getting over excited over a transfer that was never going to happen. Slagging off our manager, dof and owner over disappointment that some Twitter rumours and false sky reports didn't come to fruition. In one word, pathetic.

On a lighter note, I think we've had a great window. Looking forward to Saturday. Up the toffees!

Similar criticism was aimed at the ox when at Arsenal. Liverpool fans not complaining how that turned out.

I'm really excited for the season as well JB. Good window. Lots of great youngsters, the future is bright.

I'm happy we didn't get Zaha, hopefully clubs will realise pricing players out of a move will come back to bite them. Players like Zaha will be a year older and have a year less on his contract and likely go for less than what offers they had on the table this year (at least I hope) . And his heart won't be in it knowing they wouldn't let him progress.
