Ed’s we do seem to be spending more this window with bids for Doucoure and Zaha.
Also Aston Villa have spent £144m how is this the case with FFP? Is it because some deals are paid over a period of time? ie the period of the players contract.
If this is the case then I would think the next few windows would be quiet and both clubs trying to do all their business now.

I must say I too thought that FFP applied particularly to Clubs as European Qualifiers.
