Just a quick thought off you guys. If you had to choose ONE from Kean or Laio, which would. you choose and why? By all accounts, Laio maybe the easier to sign from his club, Kean seems a better prospect, more developed so far than Laio, but big concerns over his attitude, whereas Laio supposedly more knuckled down, willing to learn/ improve and apparently the same region on price. Purely by attitude, I think I'd rather Laio, but ultimately seems the bigger gamble. (Not saying we'd get either, just a question)

I personally no nothing about Leao other than YT vids and other people’s opinions. That fella who was on Toffee tv who is very knowledgeable rates him highly so he would no doubt be a welcome signing.

For me though I watched Kean a few times last season and even posted on here about him. I would have every confidence in him if he’s the one we go for. Very reminiscent of Rom but with a better touch and link up play.

We just have to trust Marcel to find the right one and who knows it might be neither Leao or Kean.

Last time Ed 002 posted on Kean, he pretty much said we had no chance. He’s usually right. So as much as it’s a lingering story there isn’t much to report from our Ed in the know.

Strikers work off confidence and I would love to see what Tosun could do if we just started and persisted with the guy.

Toffee ace, I agree about Tosun. You don't just forget how to score goals. Give him the service to get on the end of a few, couple of goals under his belt will probably boost confidence and get him back to the player we bought.

I would be delighted if we signed either of them, although i highly doubt we will get either, my personal preference would be Leao for the same reason you said. as for Tosun, if no new striker comes in then i think he should be given a run of at least 10 games as the no.1 striker at the start of the season, surely its his turn to be afforded an opportunity like DCL.

For me Tosun isn’t a bad player by any means but rather he just isn’t a fit for the way MS wants us to play. Under Allardyce’s lump It in the box he had crosses to get on the end of but we’ve moved on thankfully.

I’d still probably have him in over DCL though as the squad stands.

Tosun isn’t what we need or want. If he is that good we shouldn’t have any problem getting our money back for him given the fact that even in that short space of time prices have kicked on. let’s see what we get. 👀.

Tosun scores goals for his Country and against good sides, he also scored against very good sides champions league etc! Prior to coming to us. He and DCL need a consistent run.
