Hi Ed, do you know what this seasons budget is looking like? A lot of people on here seem to have a different ideas in to how much money there is to spend at the club when making suggestions. At the moment the two signings have been very low budget. If we are having to look in to the loan & free market then I believe we should be looking at players like: Def (Batra - Loan, Vlaar - Free) Mid (Roberto - Loan, Jesé - Loan, Konaplayanka - Free, Januzaj - Loan) Att (Jovetic - Loan, Bamford - Loan) All these players good do a very good job for us for practically no fee involved especially Bartra, Konoplayanka & Jovetic!

{Ed025's Note - konoplayanka and jovetic will be sought after by bigger fish than us im afraid josh, on the budget front we do seem to be shopping in the bargain basement again and even though wages and fees are higher than ever im very disappointed in the calibre of the players we are linked to. i just hope we are saving for that marquee player we need or questions will be asked about where all the sky money has gone mate..

he will get stick because even teams like lecister will properly spend more then us an bill will still think we can get in top 5 and it is annoying when we properly spend like 20 mill an liverpool already spend 29 on firminhio. I like bill but he needs to sell for everton to progress because while he is charge we will go backwards and fall behind and if he is ill get well soon

It's only logical that teams that have lower wage bills have more room to spend a bit more on players, exspecially the likes of liecester that have recently been promoted

Alan, no bill did not spend 28M on anyone, the sales of felli big vic an jelavic bought mccarthy an lukaku. The same way the rodwell money (half if it) bought mirallas. Bill hasn bought anyone.

BK has got money and so has the club were in the top 20 richest clubs in the world. So in your eyes you could also say Henry did not buy Firmino and Clyne the Sterling money paid for it. BK paid 28 million for Rom simple as don't try and spiin it against him.

Explain then, summer 09 everton spend no money, lescostt leaves- we spend. Summer 08, andy johnson james mcfadden (jan08) leave, we buy fellaini, not moutinho and mbia who moyes wanted but couldn afford. 2010 we sell nobody. we get mucha an beckford.ik ignore 2011 as that doesn help your arguement. 2012 rodwell leaves for 12m Mirallas comes for jus over 6.
So obviously the club have no money they don't spend, only after extra income.
