I'm convinced Martinez did not want to progress in this cup as we would just have been too fixture conjested - with players getting tired, injuries and bookings etc

Better off out of it

However, Distin is an awful footballer and its really showing at the moment - don't know how he became a professional when he has two left feet

Or it could be a sign of> to hell with keeping clean sheets let's win the Europa and damn the rest of it including the PL?

The key question for me is>when will the change in defensive strategy come and pull the plug on a possible free fall especially in the PL?
